Agility Distance-Handling Seminar
for 4RK9s Club Members
Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at Quad City Dog Center
(Snow Date Feb. 6, 2010)

What:  an agility seminar designed for novice and open-level dogs to learn the training foundations for distance-handling. This is a seminar for handlers with dogs that have successfully run a novice or open course (have at least one qualifying run in one event) and would like to improve their handling skills and/or their dog's performance. We will work on running smoothly, quickly and at a distance. It is not designed to be a seminar for advanced handlers who are Q'ing regularly on Elite NADAC courses.

Instructor, Rose Kirwan:  Rose is familiar to many of us. We've watched and admired her handle her dogs in the Elite NADAC classes, especially as she directs the dogs at distance in the Elite Chances class. Rose recently taught a distance-handling class for the Quad City Dog Club.

When:  Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 (Snow Date: Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010)
